About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is poised to become the UAE's inaugural integrated resort, slated for a 2027 opening. Situated 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort will encompass 1,530 rooms and suites, alongside 22 dining and entertainment venues, including restaurants, lounges, bars, a theater, and a beach club. Role Overview

As a Public Area Attendant, you will join the dedicated Public Area team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep across various resort spaces to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain Wynn's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities within the Public Area Department, maintaining superior cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Maintain all public spaces—including restrooms, pantries, offices, exterior and back-of-house areas—in line with Wynn's exceptional standards.
• Thoroughly clean and dust all surfaces such as desks, tables, office equipment, and windowsills to minimize allergens and ensure tidiness.
• Sanitize and disinfect restrooms, replenish consumables including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, and promptly report maintenance or inventory issues.
• Properly care for, clean, and store cleaning equipment after use; manage inventory and restock cleaning supplies efficiently.
• Report facility maintenance issues like leaks, spills, or damages to management promptly.
• Prioritize employee engagement and guest satisfaction to deliver quality service.
• Coordinate regularly with management tiers to uphold resort cleanliness and operational policies.
• Prepare and oversee public area-related administrative documentation.
• Respond effectively to guest feedback and special requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with Wynn's safety protocols, including correct handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
• Adapt cleaning schedules as needed for urgent requests or special events, attend departmental meetings, and foster effective multicultural communication and team spirit.
• Follow health, hygiene, and safety policies diligently, actively participating in recycling and sustainability initiatives.
• Promote positive interactions among team members, management, and contractors, and uphold company code of conduct.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum education: secondary school or higher.
• At least three years’ experience in housekeeping or public area maintenance, with preference for commercial or office cleaning exposure (training provided if needed).
• Physical capability to perform prolonged standing, bending, lifting (10–15 kg), and repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with cleaning methods, products, equipment, and knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with high-quality output commitment.
• Effective time management skills and ability to operate independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Experience liaising between guests and various departments; acts as a senior point of contact fostering employee recognition and positive performance.
• Strong multicultural communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage inventories, schedules, and daily operations.
• Resilience in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with ability to work flexible shifts according to business needs.
