Role Overview

We are searching for a full-time Property Snagging Inspector to manage the entire inspection process from start to finish. This role involves attending properties, performing comprehensive visual and instrument-assisted assessments, capturing every defect with photographic and video evidence along with severity ratings, compiling detailed reports, and professionally engaging with clients on site. This role is dynamic, requiring mobility and meticulous attention to detail to detect issues others might overlook.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive snagging inspections on apartments, villas, and townhouses, covering structural finishes and visual mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components (MEP) such as electrical fixtures, plumbing installations, HVAC systems, and drainage.
• Utilize professional inspection tools including thermal cameras, moisture meters, sound level meters, and endoscopic cameras, among others.
• Identify, document, and photograph defects spanning structural, finishing, operational, safety, and cosmetic aspects, ensuring precise location referencing.
• Prioritize findings based on severity and arrange reports systematically by room and location using the company's reporting software.
• Produce precise, professionally written inspection reports within agreed timelines.
• Communicate inspection outcomes clearly and professionally to clients during on-site visits and respond to their inquiries effectively.
• Maintain the inspection equipment, monitoring calibration and replacement requirements.
• Suggest improvements to the inspection checklists and reporting methods to enhance the overall process as the company grows.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in property inspection, snagging, quality assurance/quality control, site engineering, or construction quality management within the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of construction finishes and building systems with keen defect identification skills.
• Proficient written English skills necessary for producing clear, professional, and error-free reports.
• Valid UAE driving license and the ability to commute daily to various sites across Dubai.
• Possession of valid InterNACHI certification.
• Comfortable handling inspection tools and using smartphones or tablets.
• Dependable, highly detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
