Role Overview

The Project Specialist, based in Singapore, will play a key role in supporting consulting teams by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to assist with client projects and vendor evaluations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support consulting teams by collecting, compiling, entering, and analyzing data using Excel to facilitate various client engagements, including managing parts of projects and reviewing junior analysts' outputs.
  • Obtain vendor utilization and rate data through Requests for Proposal (RFPs); interpret and summarize findings in Excel or PowerPoint for client presentations.
  • Develop cost forecasts and evaluate vendor renewal proposals to support client meetings.
  • Consolidate information for budgeting and billing reports, participate in relevant meetings, assist with clear communication delivery, and resolve most claim-related issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Collect and organize client and vendor plan design data to analyze impacts of healthcare plan consolidations or marketing initiatives, including verification and follow-up for data accuracy.
  • Build knowledge of vendor/carrier markets, underwriting and financial fundamentals, products, services, tools, and internal resources through formal training and peer learning.

Requirements

  • Strong enthusiasm for global benefits management.
  • Completion of all six licensing examination papers is mandatory to qualify for the role.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated interest or ability in data cleansing, analysis, and record maintenance.
  • Possession of MAS qualification is required.
