Role Overview

As a Program Specialist within Lenovo’s Ethics and Compliance organization, focusing on AI Ethics, you will support the daily operations and expansion of Lenovo’s AI Ethics initiatives. This role involves maintaining efficient and scalable processes, coordinating various projects, managing knowledge resources, and facilitating governance activities linked to AI Ethics. It is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Responsible AI while collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance Lenovo's internal AI Ethics review workflows ensuring continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and update review standards, guidelines, templates, playbooks, documentation, and other related materials.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, progress tracking, and follow-up tasks for AI Ethics projects.
• Handle review intake, workflow prioritization, documentation upkeep, and remediation tracking efforts.
• Maintain databases of records, operational metrics, reporting, and resource monitoring for AI Ethics activities.
• Develop and update internal knowledge resources such as SharePoint content and curated libraries on AI governance, standards, and research.
• Keep abreast of developments in AI legislation, industry standards, and emerging risks, supporting training, communication, research, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information science, public policy, law, social science, or related fields.
• Minimum two years’ experience in areas such as project management, program operations, governance, compliance, research, or knowledge management.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities to juggle multiple priorities while ensuring precise documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and contribute effectively across diverse functions.
• Keen interest in Responsible AI, AI Ethics, or technology governance domains.
• Professional-level English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as an IAPP Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).
• Project management credentials such as PRINCE2, PMP, or CAPM.
• Experience supporting governance, compliance, risk management, or Responsible AI initiatives.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, AI governance frameworks, and emerging AI risk factors.
• Proficiency using SharePoint, knowledge management systems, workflow platforms, or AI-enhanced productivity tools.
• Experience in developing and sustaining standards, procedures, playbooks, training materials, and operational documentation.
