Job Overview
This role is focused on supporting daily manufacturing operations, including maintenance and troubleshooting activities at the Tuas plant in Singapore. Candidates can opt for either a permanent day or night shift. Benefits include island-wide transportation, shift allowances, overtime pay, annual wage supplement (AWS), variable bonus (VB), meals, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned machinery and process units diligently.
- Troubleshoot equipment or machine breakdowns to maintain production targets and uphold quality standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, servicing, and part replacement.
- Continuously monitor and document machine/process parameters during operations, taking immediate corrective or containment actions when necessary.
- Conduct sampling inspections according to the Quality plan to verify product compliance; manage disposition for any non-conforming products.
- Assist the Team Leader with production area changes, projects, and ensuring adherence to environmental, health, safety (EHS), quality, cost, and schedule standards.
- Maintain precise machine data in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including component lot numbers, shift outputs, waste, and downtimes.
- Handle material management activities including packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading.
- Perform detailed visual inspections using scopes as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum education level: Secondary School / "O" Level / SPM / NITEC / Diploma in any discipline.
- Must hold legal authorization to work in Singapore.
- Capability to work in manufacturing environments, both cleanroom and non-cleanroom.
- Willingness to undertake permanent Day or Night shifts.
- Physical ability to stand for extended durations.
- Capacity to lift and move materials weighing between 10-20 kg.
