Product Manager

Role Overview

The Product Manager will serve as a primary contributor throughout the full lifecycle of our products, spanning from strategic planning to market launch phases. In close partnership with the Product Lead, you will help define and evolve the product roadmap, ensure smooth operation of product functions, prioritize the backlog effectively, and guide the product vision to its final realization. This role requires collaboration across teams and input from both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and refining innovative product solutions that satisfy the requirements of both internal stakeholders and customer needs.
• Defining explicit product goals and key performance indicators, then communicating the product roadmap clearly to all relevant parties.
• Deeply understanding customer experiences to identify product gaps and spearhead initiatives that enhance market share, customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Drafting detailed product feature specifications and preparing necessary documentation related to those features.
• Partnering closely with the Technology team to enable swift product launches utilizing resources efficiently.
• Overseeing streamlined product introductions, coordinating with management, PR, and other product personnel as required.
• Engaging directly with customers to gather feedback and insights about our offerings.
• Working across internal teams within an agile environment to meet established timelines.
• Active participation in routine team sprints and daily stand-up meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 6 years of professional experience in product management, leadership roles, or software engineering within a B2B SaaS context.
• A proven record of managing products successfully through their entire lifecycle.
• Technical proficiency with direct experience or a solid understanding of software development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with a proactive approach to identify root causes and develop efficient, innovative solutions.
• Familiarity and competency with SaaS product management processes and relevant tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Academic qualifications in computer science, IT, or related fields.
• Demonstrated exposure to or interest in the fintech industry; prior experience in a fintech company is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and expense management systems.
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking.
• Comfortable working with collaboration and communication platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Teams, and Asana.
