Job description

Role Mission

As the Product Manager for Android Integration & Ecosystem, you will steer the vision, strategy, and value proposition for how ProGlove devices connect, integrate, and deliver benefits within the enterprise Android ecosystem. ProGlove is transforming from a wearable scanner manufacturer to a comprehensive Worker Companion provider, combining ergonomic wearable hardware, software, connectivity, workflow guidance, data, and intelligence. The introduction of the MAI Wearable Companion expands our reach into a larger ecosystem of enterprise software, technologies, standards, partners, and customer infrastructure.

Your aim is to simplify adoption, integration, and scaling of our products without requiring bespoke development for each customer. You will uncover common customer integration needs, create scalable product capabilities and offerings, and define which should be internally developed, enabled through partnerships, or delegated to partners. This approach will position integration as a key differentiator and source of customer and commercial advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine product strategy and prioritize features for ProGlove’s Android integration capabilities aligned with customer and business objectives.
  • Collaborate directly with customers, Sales, and Solution Architecture teams to identify recurring issues and distinguish between unique requests and market-wide problems to guide product development.
  • Convert frequent integration requirements into repeatable product features such as APIs, SDKs, developer tools, interfaces, documentation, integration blueprints, and deployment processes.
  • Design user experiences supporting device setup, provisioning, app distribution, device management, and scalable operation of connected device fleets.
  • Make informed decisions about ownership versus enabling or partnering, weighing customer benefits, strategic control, speed to market, scalability, and complexity.
  • Identify relevant platforms, applications, standards, and ecosystem stakeholders critical to customers, and drive integrations, certifications, and partnerships to strengthen offerings.
  • Explore how integration capabilities and ecosystem propositions can generate unique value and drive new or recurring revenue streams.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and the Wearable Companion Product Manager to ensure aligned customer focus, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Empower Sales and customer-facing teams to articulate the Android integration value proposition and deployment models clearly.
  • Maintain insight into enterprise Android, AOSP, enterprise mobility, AI, and related technologies and integrate relevant developments into strategic planning and product direction.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven Product Management experience in B2B or enterprise technology, capable of defining strategy, identifying meaningful customer pain points, prioritizing opportunities, and developing scalable solutions.
  • Commercially astute, connecting product decisions to customer value, market differentiation, business impact, and revenue opportunities.
  • Comfortable with enterprise software, connected devices, platforms, integrations, and complex IT environments.
  • Technically proficient to understand architectures, interfaces, and trade-offs and engage credibly in platform and integration conversations.
  • Systems thinker focused on repeatable, simple solutions that address underlying needs beyond individual requests.
  • Self-driven with end-to-end ownership, able to progress initiatives without detailed guidance even in ambiguous contexts.
  • Collaborative and trust-building attitude, able to align multiple stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and external partners without formal authority.
  • Clear, transparent communication skills, able to explain complex technical and business subjects to diverse audiences and flag risks early.
  • Curious about customers, business, and new technologies, applying evidence-based assumptions testing.
  • Pragmatic decision-maker balancing speed, simplicity, quality, and long-term benefits.
  • Fluent in English with experience working internationally.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Android, AOSP, or related Android ecosystems, including deployments beyond standard Google Mobile Services.
  • Knowledge of enterprise mobility management, MDM/EMM, device provisioning, app deployment, or connected fleet management solutions.
  • Experience in rugged/industrial devices, IoT, edge hardware, or B2B tech ecosystems.
  • Expertise in APIs, SDKs, developer/integrator experience, and enterprise integrations.
  • Understanding platform/ecosystem strategies, technology partnerships, certification, developer programs.
  • Engagement with enterprise customers deploying technologies at scale.

We combine innovation with execution and operate in a fast-paced, ownership-driven culture focused on real customers’ challenges. We promote trust, collaboration, continuous learning, and encourage contributions beyond job titles.

Success Indicators

  • A clearly defined, customer-endorsed strategy and roadmap for Android ecosystem and integration capabilities.
  • Conversion of recurring integration needs into scalable, repeatable product capabilities rather than bespoke projects.
  • Simplified adoption, deployment, and management of ProGlove devices within customer enterprise environments.
  • Transparent, customer-value-driven decisions about ownership, enabling, or partnering for capabilities.
  • Alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Solution Architecture teams on priorities and trade-offs.
  • Customer-facing teams equipped to confidently represent the Android integration proposition independently.
  • Identification and execution of relevant integrations, partnerships, and commercial outcomes.

Team and Reporting

You will report to the Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with the Wearable Companion Product Manager along with colleagues in Engineering, Sales, Solution Architecture, and Product Marketing. The role requires extensive cross-functional engagement to bridge customer needs, technical solutions, and commercial potential, including external partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
