Role Overview

Serving as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada provides an excellent chance to develop skills in a dynamic retail setting. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the produce area remains clean, organized, and well-zoned to be presentable for customers at all times.
• Perform regular product rotation and remove expired items to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Verify that all produce items have correct pricing and appropriate signage, adhering to procedures for ordering, clearance, marking up/down, labeling, and signage.
• Follow stringent food safety, sanitation, and cold chain protocols including temperature monitoring, proper food handling, and compliance with expiration dates.
• Stock and destock goods as required, use product protection measures when necessary, and set up displays such as modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to maintain full stocking.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Be flexible with scheduling, committing to shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demands to support store operations and customer service.

Challenges

• Manage high volumes of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Handle repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with consistent attention to detail.

Compensation

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $19.05.
