Procurement Sourcing Manager – Talent

As a Procurement Sourcing Manager within the Talent category, you will support the organization's strategic procurement efforts focused on Talent-related categories primarily centered on client-chargeable requirements across Africa and sourcing activities in Europe Central.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead category strategies focused on Talent procurement, prioritizing client-chargeable needs in Africa.
• Support sourcing and category management initiatives in Europe Central, including cross-border projects.
• Establish, manage, and govern a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) to ensure access to vetted and commercially competitive suppliers in critical Talent procurement areas.
• Act as a trusted procurement advisor for Talent leaders, client-facing teams, and senior stakeholders across Africa and Europe Central.
• Lead complete sourcing projects from supplier selection to commercial negotiations and contract lifecycle management.
• Increase procurement spend under management within the Talent portfolio and implement strategic sourcing improvements.
• Analyze category spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, enhance value, and mitigate risk.
• Drive procurement maturity through governance, supplier relationship management, sourcing excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Perform supplier performance reviews and implement follow-up actions where necessary.
• Develop category reporting, spend analytics, market insights, and sourcing recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Operate independently with autonomy, proactively identifying and executing category opportunities while balancing regional and global procurement objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 7 years of procurement experience, preferably with a focus on Talent-related categories.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional or multi-country category strategies.
• Proven track record in leading sourcing initiatives, negotiating commercial terms, and managing supplier relationships.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong skills in procurement reporting, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
• Capability to analyze spend data and market insights effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional procurement certification such as CPSM or CIPS.
• Experience working within a global, culturally diverse organization.
• Prior exposure to client-serving or high-stakes stakeholder environments.
• Additional language skills relevant to Europe Central sourcing would be beneficial.
