Procurement Coordinator

Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement and General Services Coordinator to strengthen our supply chain and administrative tasks, specifically within the power, energy, and water sectors. This role demands expertise in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering to manage sophisticated procurement requirements and maintain seamless operational support.

Key Duties

• Design, consolidate, and implement the annual procurement strategy by leveraging optimal sourcing techniques, tendering protocols, and direct procurement activities.
• Issue and track purchase orders ensuring alignment with technical specifications covering quality, quantity, and pricing standards.
• Manage vendor selection, engagement, and contractual adherence to meet the organization's purchasing demands effectively. Continuously assess and enhance procurement methodologies and tools based on feedback from departments and suppliers to boost accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise upkeep, safety, and logistics of facilities and office provisions, including managing cleaning and security services.
• Adhere strictly to departmental policies and standard operating procedures while promoting cost-saving initiatives and preparing punctual financial and operational reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 8 years of experience in similar procurement roles within large enterprises, including 3+ years in progressively responsible managerial positions.
• Mandatory experience within the power, energy, or water industries.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical mindset, with practical operational experience in a GCC working culture.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Fluent professional English required; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
• Excellent skills in communication and presentations.
