Job description
Job Overview
The LVR Hillgrove Mine project near Armidale, NSW, is moving forward into production after refurbishment of its processing plant. We are seeking seasoned Process Technicians to join our team and contribute to the extraction and processing of valuable minerals. You will work under the Process Supervisor to safely and efficiently operate and monitor processing circuits, ensuring consistent output, metallurgical quality, and safe conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize plant processes within set parameters.
- Identify and report equipment faults to maintenance and assist where needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and ensure accurate recording of operational data.
- Carry out sampling and analyze assay results to enhance plant performance.
- Collaborate with the plant metallurgist to test and improve processing methods.
- Troubleshoot production issues to maintain continuity and stability.
- Support development of operating procedures, standards, and continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Experience with processing circuits in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry settings.
- Knowledge of processing flows, equipment operation, and basic metallurgy.
- Proven ability to adhere to procedures and adapt to changing process conditions.
- Strong focus on safety and situational awareness.
Mandatory Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Australian Manual Driver's License.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- First Aid Certificate or CPR qualification.
- Certification in Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Heavy vehicle licenses such as HR Drivers Licence.
- Experience with Front End Loader, Bobcat, Forklift, and Telehandler operation.
Other Requirements
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
- Ability to provide a recent National Police Clearance (within 6 months) upon request.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening, with compliance to ongoing tests during employment.
