Primary Teacher

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Primary Teacher position located in Doha, Qatar. The teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging lessons that comply with the school's curriculum and educational expectations for primary students.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare instructional materials and manage classroom activities effectively.
• Monitor student progress closely and provide constructive feedback to both learners and their families.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and actively participate in school functions and professional development programs.
• Maintain accurate records and reports concerning student performance and behavior.
• Create and sustain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment encouraging academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in teaching and elementary education, with direct experience teaching primary school children.
• Competence in curriculum development and adaptation to diverse learner needs.
• Excellent communication skills to engage professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline; possession of a teaching license or certification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a primary or elementary teacher, preferably in an international or multicultural education setting.
• Ability to foster inclusive classrooms, apply positive behavior management techniques, and utilize various teaching methods and educational technologies.
• Strong organizational abilities, dependability, and a dedication to continuous professional development.
