About GEA Group and Role

GEA in Oelde specializes in developing and manufacturing advanced centrifuges and separation technologies across an 85,000 m² production site. Their solutions—such as separators, decanters, and comprehensive system solutions—enable efficient separation of liquids and solids, serving diverse industries worldwide. To strengthen the team at Oelde, GEA seeks a Pricing Expert (m/w/d) to significantly influence both the strategic and operational advancement of pricing in the "Pure Flow Processing" division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the further development and establishment of a unified pricing management approach across all business units within the "Pure Flow Processing" division, including central functions and sales organizations.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement and implementation of the division's pricing strategy.
  • Participate in designing and deploying innovative pricing concepts for plant and service businesses.
  • Determine and set prices for new and existing products using value-based pricing methods.
  • Assist in standardizing and optimizing pricing processes.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc price and margin analyses to facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Utilize and maintain GEA's pricing software alongside customized Excel tools.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on pricing topics within the division.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on pricing initiatives, methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Completed degree in economics or engineering; alternatively, a completed commercial vocational training with relevant professional experience.
  • Some initial experience in pricing is desirable.
  • Experience within an international business environment is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of project management.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus.
  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written, along with good German language skills.
  • Service-oriented and communicative personality with strong team collaboration skills.
  • Highly analytical and solution-focused mindset.
