Role Overview

As the Pricing Director, you will lead the strategy for pricing within Redcare Pharmacy’s retail segment, bridging commercial strategy with advanced analytics and technology. Your core mission is to enhance product and transaction pricing approaches to optimize profitability, revenue, and competitive customer pricing at large e-commerce scale. Your leadership will cultivate a dynamic, data-driven pricing methodology ensuring impactful business results. This scope will also incorporate the refinement of marketplace and proprietary brand pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and advance the core retail pricing strategy balancing profitability, revenue, and price competitiveness while converting strategic priorities into tangible commercial outcomes.
• Elevate pricing practices through rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, modeling, and impact validation, establishing methodologies to measure causality and incremental value driven by pricing actions.
• Develop scalable frameworks and decision-making logic for dynamic, real-time pricing responsive to customer behavior, competition, and market conditions.
• Position pricing as a pivotal input in organizational decision-making, collaborating closely with Commercial, Controlling, Procurement, Tech, and Product teams to align stakeholders on trade-offs and opportunities.
• Lead and nurture a growing team of more than nine pricing experts, upholding high analytical standards and advocating pricing strategies with senior leadership and the Board.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity, with proven expertise in B2C e-commerce pricing at significant scale, preferably in environments comparable to Redcare's 14.5 million active users.
• Strong strategic mindset paired with deep analytical and quantitative skills, backed by a solid foundation in mathematics, analytics, data science, or related fields to critically evaluate pricing methodologies and data integrity.
• Proven understanding and hands-on experience with dynamic pricing models in high-volume e-commerce settings, demonstrating measurable gains in profitability, revenue, or competitive pricing through analytical models and experimentation.
• Ability to influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders across functional areas and executive leadership while maintaining close engagement with analytical details to challenge teams and communicate pricing insights effectively at the Board level.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is advantageous but not required.
