Your Impact

As a senior technical leader within our Microsoft Practice, the Microsoft Cloud Platform Practice Architect is accountable for the excellence in designing, delivering, and evolving solutions based on Microsoft Cloud technologies. This role shapes methodologies, advances best practices, supports product offerings, and collaborates closely with key clients to drive significant business transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Frontier partner, Foundary, and IQ workloads.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and promote adoption of the newest Microsoft innovations within the practice.
• Lead integration of cloud features into solution delivery frameworks that transform customer workflows and outcomes.
• Develop, document, and continually refine methodologies and best practices for Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and product managers to ensure consistency and quality in all projects.
• Promote internal training and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Assist in creating and improving Microsoft Azure offerings alongside product and delivery teams.
• Pilot new technologies acting as a "Customer Zero," then refine offerings prior to wide release.
• Provide presales support, solution architecture, and technical guidance for key strategic pursuits.
• Engage deeply with strategic customers, acting as a trusted advisor during their Microsoft transformation journeys.
• Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, and executive briefings for high-impact engagements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and measurable business results through excellent delivery.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and other strategic partners to co-develop solutions and foster mutual success.
• Represent Softchoice and WWT at industry events, sharing expert insights and promoting best practices.
• Champion ongoing improvement and early adoption of new technologies.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, demonstrated through hands-on experience.
• Proven history of architecting and delivering complex Microsoft solutions to enterprise clients.
• Experience with coworking, skill development, and technological deployments.
• Established success in methodology development, technical leadership, and fostering innovation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience partnering with Microsoft and international collaborators.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical role, ideally involving Microsoft technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical base salary range for this position in Canada is $120,800 to $151,000 annually, plus target incentives of approximately 14%. Actual pay will depend on factors including location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
