Role Overview

The Microsoft Cloud Platform Practice Architect is a senior technical authority within our Microsoft Practice. This position entails leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of solutions built on Microsoft Cloud technologies. The role is essential in establishing methodologies, driving best practices, supporting offering evolutions, and engaging directly with high-profile customers to facilitate transformative business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Frontier partner/Foundary and IQ workloads.
• Continuously monitor emerging Microsoft cloud trends, promoting adoption of new innovations.
• Integrate cloud functionalities into solution frameworks, enhancing customer processes and results.
• Lead the creation, documentation, and refinement of Azure methodologies and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and product managers to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
• Drive internal training and foster a culture focused on learning and innovation.
• Assist in developing and enhancing Azure-based offerings, coordinating closely with product and delivery teams.
• Pioneer new technology trials as "Customer Zero," refining solutions before full-scale deployment.
• Support presales activities by providing solution architecture and technical leadership for strategic projects.
• Engage as a trusted advisor with key strategic clients, steering their Microsoft transformation efforts.
• Lead workshops, architecture evaluations, and executive briefings on impactful engagements.
• Promote customer satisfaction and measurable business benefits through rigor in delivery.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and other strategic partners to develop joint solutions and successes.
• Represent the company at industry events, disseminating thought leadership and advocating best practices.
• Encourage ongoing enhancements and early adoption of emerging technologies.

Candidate Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure solutions and related cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated success in architecting and delivering complex Microsoft solutions for enterprise clients.
• Experience in coworking, skill development, and deployment activities.
• Strong background in methodology development, technical leadership, and fostering innovation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience partnering with Microsoft and global technology collaborators.
• Committed to continuous professional development and learning.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical roles, preferably involving Microsoft technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role in Canada spans from $120,800 to $151,000, complemented by target incentives of 14%. Actual compensation will vary depending on location, experience, skill set, educational background, and certifications. Salary ranges may differ in other regions.
