About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy manufacturing operation in Wolverhampton that specializes in batch powder coating automotive and aerospace components. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering an hourly wage between £13.00 and £14.00.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload the powder coating booth effectively and safely.
• Hand spray various components using powder coating equipment to achieve a precise finish.
• Prepare parts thoroughly prior to coating application.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
• Handle and lift components that can be heavy, demonstrating physical fitness.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in powder coating within a manufacturing or engineering setting is required.
• Physically capable of performing manual tasks including regular lifting and standing.
• Skilled in hand spraying powder coating applications with high attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, punctual, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
