About the Role

Join Poolwerx as a Pool Cleaning Technician and start a full-time career working outdoors Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts. Paid training is provided along with a company vehicle, tools, and equipment. Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and serve a scheduled route of residential and commercial swimming pools.
  • Perform water chemistry testing and balance to ensure pool safety and health.
  • Apply and adjust pool chemicals such as chlorine, sanitizers, pH balancers, and algaecides.
  • Brush pool surfaces including walls, steps, and tiles.
  • Vacuum pools and clear debris.
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets regularly.
  • Clean or backwash pool filters as required.
  • Inspect pool systems (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automations) to confirm functionality.
  • Identify equipment problems and communicate suggested repairs to customers.
  • Document all services provided accurately and communicate completed work.
  • Maintain company vehicle organization and ensure stock of supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at every appointment.

Desired Qualities and Qualifications

  • No prior pool service experience necessary; comprehensive paid training will be given.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Age requirement: minimum 21 years due to insurance rules for company vehicles.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable, self-driven, and able to operate independently.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer care skills.
  • Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and equipment after training.
