Pool Attendant

Position Overview

The role involves maintaining cleanliness around the pool area by washing, mopping, and tidying the pool deck. A key part of the job is fostering a lively yet relaxing environment for guests engaging in recreational activities by maintaining a friendly and energetic demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the recreational facility for safe usage and respond properly according to operational guidelines during emergencies.
• Uphold the facility's rules and regulations, reporting any safety concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Provide immediate assistance to injured guests until emergency medical personnel arrive.
• Manage towel logistics including collecting, folding, and stacking in line with company standards.
• Complete all safety training sessions and necessary certifications, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and respect confidentiality of all proprietary company information.
• Greet guests warmly in accordance with company standards, assist those with disabilities, and anticipate their service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally and foster positive collaboration with colleagues.
• Meet quality assurance benchmarks consistently and carry out accurate information processing using various formats and technology.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 25 pounds, navigating uneven and slippery surfaces, and flexing through bending and stretching movements as part of job duties.
• Fulfill additional reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience is required.
• Mandatory certifications include CPR and First Aid.
• Additional training or certifications required by local or state authorities must be obtained.
