About the Role

We are looking for a committed and patient-oriented Podiatrist to join our Limerick-based team in Ireland. This role offers an opportunity for a certified professional to provide exceptional foot and lower limb healthcare across clinic settings to a varied patient group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and manage a variety of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Deliver routine podiatric treatments including nail surgery, biomechanical evaluations, and wound care management.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment and care plans for patients.
  • Keep detailed and current patient medical records adhering to clinical governance protocols.
  • Collaborate with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare specialists as required.
  • Educate patients on foot wellness and prevention strategies.
  • Comply with infection control and health & safety standards throughout all duties.

Essential Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland is compulsory; applicants must confirm this upon application.
  • Possession of a valid and clean full driving licence owing to travel needs between patients and clinics.
  • Recognized academic qualification in Podiatry/Chiropody (BSc or accepted equivalent).
  • Current registration or eligibility to register with CORU (Podiatrists Registration Board).
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to independently manage and prioritize a patient caseload effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in clinical or community podiatry environments.
  • Specialized knowledge in biomechanics, sports-related injuries, or diabetic foot care is an advantage.
