Role Overview

We seek a Platform DevOps Engineer to own the design, construction, and operation of the infrastructure supporting AI Co-Workers. This role demands hands-on technical expertise and collaboration with product, AI, and engineering teams to maintain high reliability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and administer resilient production infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
  • Manage Kubernetes platforms used to deploy and execute AI applications.
  • Implement infrastructure as code utilizing GitOps practices with Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Create and sustain reusable GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows covering Docker image builds, Terraform planning and applying, and cross-repository deployments.
  • Manage Helm-driven deployment procedures integrating GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
  • Establish, monitor, and enhance system reliability via SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for incident management, including response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
  • Automate routine tasks and optimize engineering workflows to minimize operational burden.
  • Enhance observability through advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems meet standards of scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Oversee software lifecycle stages from building through deployment and operational phases.
  • Investigate and resolve issues across complex, multi-layered technology environments.
  • Drive improvements in product capabilities by designing architectural enhancements that satisfy resiliency, security, and cross-cloud compatibility requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Practical experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Terragrunt for automated infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm.
  • Professional expertise in at least two programming or scripting languages like Python, Go, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Prior experience in Platform or DevOps engineering or comparable roles.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of GitOps deployment methods, especially with ArgoCD.
  • Minimum five years of relevant industry experience.
  • Background in DevOps or DevSecOps including infrastructure automation, CI/CD ownership, and security best practices.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), and relevant DevOps or DevSecOps certificates.
