Position Overview
Join Dyno Nobel's Kalgoorlie ANFO Plant as a Plant Operator, contributing to the safe production and distribution of explosive products vital for mining activities across Western Australia. This hands-on position offers structured training, fostering skill development in chemical processing, plant operations, and safe product handling within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant machinery safely to produce ANFO and emulsion explosives.
- Manage loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products while ensuring accurate documentation and delivery verification.
- Perform quality control tests and monitor production processes regularly.
- Conduct pre-start equipment inspections, hazard identification, and report incidents promptly.
- Adhere to operating procedures and escalate issues to maintain safe, efficient plant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and contribute positively to site performance.
Candidate Profile
We're seeking dependable, safety-conscious individuals who thrive in practical roles, excel in team settings, and rigorously follow procedures to produce quality outcomes. Prior experience in manufacturing, processing, mining, or heavy industry is valued.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Ability to secure and maintain a satisfactory Police Clearance.
- Pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screenings.
- Possess a valid Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
