Physical Security Operations Regional Manager

Overview

Meta is looking to hire a knowledgeable Physical Security Operations Regional Manager to oversee and enhance large-scale physical security initiatives across a specified geographic region. The role demands leadership in strategy formulation, execution, and enhancement of security that protects people, facilities, events, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the regional physical security strategy covering services such as protective measures, access control, guard management, and security technology within a varied portfolio.
• Conduct assessments and design security standards for regional offices, events, and critical infrastructure.
• Oversee contracts and performance of security service providers, ensuring compliance with standards through audits and reviews.
• Collaborate closely with global security, real estate, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment with overall enterprise risk goals.
• Perform risk assessments, threat analysis, and vulnerability evaluations, translating insights into mitigation actions.
• Lead incident response coordination, crisis leadership, and emergency planning to foster continual improvements.
• Develop dashboards and metrics reporting the status and risks of security programs to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and operational risks, devising innovative contingency plans to reinforce organizational resilience.
• Mentor security personnel and cross-functional collaborators to share best practices and operational guidelines.
• Represent physical security perspectives in cross-functional forums influencing facility design, technology adoption, and policy formulation with strategic foresight.
• Manage crisis efforts regionally, engaging intelligence partners and responding proactively to complex threats.

Required Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in physical security operations or protective services in large enterprises or critical infrastructure settings.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical security risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Experienced in managing third-party security vendors including contract oversight and audit compliance.
• Proven track record in influencing senior leadership through data-backed security recommendations and strategic presentations.

Preferred Expertise

• Background in developing and executing crisis management and emergency response protocols, collaborating with law enforcement and official agencies.
• Knowledge in ethical AI application, including risk evaluation and bias mitigation.
• Familiarity with current physical security technologies and evolving industry trends.
• Capability to integrate AI tools for workflow optimization and measurable operational improvements.
• Experience linking physical operations with electronic security platforms like surveillance and access control systems.
