Phlebotomist - Home Sample Collection

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist specialized in home blood sample collection to join Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd. The role involves visiting patients' residences to collect blood specimens using Vacutainer tubes, performing ECGs when necessary, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely sample transportation with strict adherence to hygiene and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit assigned patients' homes according to the schedule for sample collection
• Carry out blood sample collection using Vacutainer and follow safety protocols
• Perform ECG procedures as required during visits
• Properly label, barcode, and document samples accurately
• Maintain cold chain conditions to preserve sample integrity during transport
• Deliver samples punctually to the laboratory facility
• Provide patients with clear explanations regarding testing procedures and fasting instructions when necessary

Candidate Requirements

• Mandatory certification in DMLT or MLT; candidates holding B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications also considered
• At least 6 months of practical experience in Vacutainer blood collection
• Prior experience in home sample collection is preferred
• Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license
• Willingness to travel within the allocated geographic area

Compensation and Work Hours

• Guaranteed minimum collection of 170 samples per month, with a rate of Rs.150 per collection
• Full-time shift from 6am to 2pm or part-time shift from 6am to 11am
