Pharmacy Technician

About the Role

A prominent healthcare institution based in Riyadh is looking to recruit a competent and meticulous Pharmacy Technician to enhance their pharmacy department's functions. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacist by ensuring safe, precise, and effective pharmacy operations.

Key Duties

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications in line with established protocols and guidelines.
• Manage the receipt, organization, and proper storage of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Regularly monitor stock levels, ensure medication expiration dates are tracked, and maintain adequate inventory availability.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of pharmacy activities and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to medication storage requirements, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Support the pharmacy's daily operations under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within the pharmacy environment.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a diploma or equivalent recognized credential in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technology.
• Valid classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in hospital, medical center, or healthcare settings is advantageous.
• Good understanding of medication management, storage protocols, and inventory control procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail along with strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to perform efficiently within a healthcare environment.
