About the Role

Join our team as a Pharmacy Dispenser at Wells Superstore, where customer care and teamwork are at the heart of every task. In this position, you will play a vital part in operating a modern Tesco Pharmacy, helping ensure an excellent experience for every customer. Your working hours will be scheduled within specific availability windows, with shifts planned at least three weeks in advance.

Working Hours

• Monday: 08:30 - 19:00
• Tuesday: 08:30 - 19:00
• Saturday: 08:30 - 12:30

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily functions of the pharmacy within a cooperative team environment.
• Dispense prescription medications accurately while maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Offer knowledgeable, friendly advice on medicines, common health conditions, and pharmacy services to customers.
• Assess customer requirements and suggest appropriate products responsibly.
• Address queries within your competency and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Complete prescription administration tasks with precision and timeliness.
• Participate in promotional efforts and company initiatives to support pharmacy success.

• Experience or qualifications related to pharmacy work are essential.
• A commitment to learning and growing professionally within the pharmacy sector.
• A genuine passion for exceptional service, consistently greeting customers warmly and guiding them to suitable solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and reassurance with customers at the pharmacy counter.
• Good judgment to make informed decisions about over-the-counter assistance, prescription queries, and appropriate referral to pharmacists.
• A positive, cooperative attitude with excellent communication skills, embracing teamwork and recognizing shared achievements.
