Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to become a vital part of our store team in Letchworth, providing crucial healthcare advice, prescription services, and care to the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement the pharmacy strategy by delivering compassionate advice, expert care, and healthcare services including vaccinations such as flu jabs.
- Foster a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth environment throughout your duties.
- Prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely, ensuring dosages and materials are customized for each patient.
- Ensure full adherence to legal regulations, standard operating procedures, and data protection protocols.
- Collaborate closely with dispensers and accuracy checking technicians to support their growth and guarantee efficient daily operations.
Additional Information
- Pharmacists report to the Pharmacy Manager, taking charge and responsibility in their absence to maintain smooth, safe, and lawful pharmacy operation.
- All incoming Pharmacists must successfully undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which is organised and funded by the employer.

Candidate Profile
- Possess a recognised Pharmacy degree with current, active registration on the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) register.
- Excellent communication abilities demonstrated by compassionate, clear interactions with patients, store team members, and local medical practices.
- A caring, practical mindset to efficiently handle pharmacy operations, resolve patient inquiries, and uphold high service and safety standards.
