Role Overview

This position entails delivering expert personal security services to individuals such as executives, VIPs, public figures, families, and others who require heightened protection. The role focuses on recognizing potential threats, preventive security measures, safe transit, travel safeguards, emergency reactions, and ensuring the utmost safety, privacy, and confidentiality for the client.

Key Duties

• Provide expert personal protection aligned with established security protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive security evaluations before visits, including venues, residences, offices, hotels, routes, and event sites.
• Detect and report possible security threats, vulnerabilities, suspicious behaviors, and environmental hazards.
• Create and implement tailored protective strategies and backup plans based on assessed risks.
• Maintain uninterrupted vigilance during client movements, meetings, events, travels, and daily routines.
• Design secure travel routes and coordinate transportation logistics while considering traffic, entry points, alternate paths, and possible obstacles.
• Offer secure transportation assistance and liaise with professional drivers as required.
• Perform thorough security inspections of vehicles, entryways, meeting zones, and other specified locations.
• Collaborate closely with security teams, venue managers, law enforcement, event coordinators, hotel security, and associated personnel.
• Control and monitor access to clients by regulating visitor interactions and contacts appropriately.
• React professionally and calmly to emergencies such as security breaches, medical incidents, threats, and sudden disturbances.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, security teams, drivers, assistants, and authorized stakeholders.
• Support secure travel arrangements covering airport transfers, hotel stays, business meetings, conferences, and private occasions.
• Uphold strict confidentiality concerning client identity, schedules, locations, residences, businesses, personal data, and security plans.
• Monitor evolving security landscapes and deliver updated risk analyses in a timely fashion.
• Keep detailed records including security reports, incident logs, route evaluations, and operational documents.
• Regularly assess protective measures and propose enhancements when necessary.
• Assist in emergency evacuation, crisis management, and business continuity protocols.
• Consistently demonstrate professional demeanor, conduct, discretion, and communication.
• Utilize relevant security technology including communication devices, GPS, monitoring systems, and incident-reporting tools.
• Coordinate effectively with other protection staff to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
• Conduct protective tasks professionally, complying with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
• Pursue continual improvement in personal protection tactics, situational awareness, emergency readiness, client safety, and security efficacy.

Qualifications and Skills

• Formal education or training in Security Management, Protective Services, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Military Studies, or similar is advantageous.
• Professional certifications in personal or close protection or security practices are desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal security principles, threat evaluation, risk mitigation, situational awareness, and emergency response procedures.
• Exceptional observational, communication, judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent physical condition, alertness, discipline, and ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Understanding of defensive driving and secure transit concepts is beneficial.
• First-aid and emergency response training is a plus.
• Strong grasp of confidentiality, privacy, professional ethics, and client discretion.
• Effective teamwork with security personnel, drivers, law enforcement, venue staff, and other involved parties.
• Flexible approach to adapting schedules, environments, travel demands, and security situations.
• Adeptness with GPS navigation, communication equipment, security technology, and digital incident-reporting tools.
