Overview

PepsiCo Beverages Canada is recruiting a full-time Millwright Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing food production machinery. The position involves shift work from Friday to Monday, with 10-hour shifts each day.

Key Duties

• Perform repairs and troubleshoot production equipment focusing on preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
• Utilize welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, and PLC systems in daily activities.

Compensation and Benefits

• This full-time opportunity requires availability including weekends.
• Hourly wage of $40.85 with eligibility for overtime.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification.
• Possession of a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate considered an advantage.
• At least one year of electrical experience within a food plant setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing for safety purposes.
• Competent with safe use of hand tools.
• A proactive team player demonstrating reliability, initiative, and adaptability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
