Job Overview
The People Manager functions as a key strategic partner who crafts and executes tailored people strategies that catalyze company growth, operational prowess, and outstanding employee experiences across Cavista Holdings and its varied portfolio. Collaborating intimately with executives and business leaders, this role steers workforce planning, employee relations, performance evaluation, organizational enhancement, culture cultivation, change management, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to align people strategies with business priorities that foster organizational efficiency and sustainable expansion.
- Enhance and maintain consistent HR policies, governance, employee lifecycle management, and best practices across the group for operational excellence and superior employee satisfaction.
- Lead organizational development efforts including design, cultural shifts, engagement, leadership growth, and capability building to support transformation and long-term scaling.
- Work cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT to optimize workforce planning, onboarding, mobility, and decision-making.
- Offer expert advice on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary and grievance processes ensuring compliance with labor laws and corporate policies.
- Manage the annual performance cycle by aiding goal setting, evaluations, talent calibration, improvement plans, and recognition initiatives to boost accountability and high performance.
- Analyze people data and trends to generate executive insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders on compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellbeing programs aimed at improving engagement and retention.
- Regularly visit portfolio companies to reinforce partnerships, evaluate organizational health, support initiatives, and confirm alignment with group standards.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, wellbeing, and drive a high-performance culture through programs fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Contribute strategic people support during mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, facilitating change management and workforce transitions.
- Represent the People function in enterprise-wide initiatives ensuring integration of people perspective in governance and projects.
- Perform additional organizational development, strategic people projects as requested by executive leadership to sustain growth and stability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, Management, or related fields.
- Master’s degree or MBA in related disciplines is advantageous.
- Preferred professional certifications include CIPM, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, HRCI (PHR/SPHR), CIPD, or equivalent international HR credentials.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years progressive HR experience with at least 4 years as a People Manager.
- Experience managing multiple business units, portfolio companies, or dispersed teams in holdings companies, multinational firms, or consultancy contexts.
- Proven expertise in organizational development, employee relations, performance systems, workforce planning, and change management.
- Strong record of partnering with executive leadership to influence strategic business decisions.
- Experience in diverse industries is highly valued.
