Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team. This role involves preparing monthly payroll for our employees in Germany, coordinating with external service providers, and ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly payroll data for employees in Germany for processing by an external service provider.
- Review all payroll-relevant data, approve the final payroll with the service provider, and manage any necessary subsequent adjustments.
- Establish provisions and collaborate closely with the Accounting and Tax departments.
- Serve as contact for authorities, auditors, and health insurance providers regarding payroll matters.
- Manage reporting, certification, and mandatory notifications related to payroll.
- Maintain time management systems and other human resources platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees on payroll and time tracking issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completed commercial training with additional qualification in human resources or several years of professional experience in payroll accounting.
- Good knowledge of payroll tax law and social security regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong analytical and methodical working style.
- Enthusiasm for working in an international environment.
