Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our vibrant Finance team. This role involves managing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for our New Zealand and Australian employees, including handling payroll adjustments, tax computations, and superannuation contributions while maintaining accurate employee records.
You will work closely alongside the Payroll Manager and collaborate with People and Finance departments to ensure payroll processes comply with legislation and reflect our organizational values. This position offers the chance to drive continuous improvements within a high-performing team.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of payroll experience within medium to large organizations.
- Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand payroll legislation; familiarity with Australian payroll is beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or human resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with payroll systems to deliver precise and efficient payroll runs; knowledge of PayGlobal is advantageous.
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative work style.
- Experience using SAP and HiBob (HRIS) systems is an added advantage.
