Role Overview

This role involves managing multiple payrolls on either a weekly or monthly basis, handling end-to-end payroll processing.

Main Duties

  • Efficiently process multiple Irish and UK payrolls on a weekly or monthly schedule.
  • Gather payroll data and timesheets, ensuring adherence to proper approval protocols.
  • Complete payroll processing from initiation to finalization.
  • Prepare payroll reports and distribute payslips.
  • Ensure compliance with Revenue requirements under PAYE Modernisation, ERR, and Auto Enrolment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with HR and Planning departments.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Demonstrate a sincere enthusiasm for payroll work.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum qualification: Leaving Certificate or higher.
  • Mandatory IPASS qualification.
  • At least two years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with Sage Micropay professional system is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, accountability, and the capacity to maintain a high standard of work.
  • Planning, organization, and time management skills.
