About the Role
Join Team Global Express in Invercargill as a Parcel Van Driver, playing a vital part in delivering parcels safely, punctually, and accurately to both residential and business customers. This role involves effectively loading and unloading freight, planning routes for maximum efficiency, and maintaining high standards of vehicle upkeep and delivery documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure parcel deliveries and pickups are completed on schedule and in full.
- Engage actively with all workplace safety protocols and procedures.
- Handle all freight carefully to prevent damage.
- Scan every item of freight handled to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Hold a clean New Zealand Class 1 driver's license (mandatory).
- Possess a Dangerous Goods (DG) license (mandatory).
- Effective communication skills complemented by a team-oriented approach.
- Customer-focused mindset to deliver excellent service.
- Forklift certification (OSH) preferred but not essential.
- Good familiarity with the local area.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Additional Information
This position is based in Invercargill, New Zealand. Team Global Express maintains an Alcohol and Drug Free Workplace. Pre-employment screening will include Ministry of Justice checks, drug and alcohol testing, medical assessments, and reference verifications.
