About the Role
Join InPost UK in Linwood as a Parcel Delivery Driver, part of a quickly expanding global logistics company transforming traditional delivery services. You'll be integral to our UK operations, supporting deliveries for leading high street and online retailers. Working at our depot, you'll be responsible for safe and efficient parcel delivery, vehicle security, and warehouse upkeep in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: Inpost Distribution Ltd, East Avenue Linwood, PA1 2FD
- Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 1 off (5 over 6)
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Salary: £13.78 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Load the delivery vehicle safely complying with legal requirements
- Deliver parcels promptly and securely to customers
- Maintain security of vehicle and parcels during transit
- Collect previous day's orders when required
- Complete all required documentation as per company standards
- Organize inbound supplies by breaking down, allocating, and loading
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and safe
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid full UK driving licence with six or fewer penalty points
- Have a minimum of three years of driving experience
- No prior driving disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR)
- Possess comprehensive local knowledge of commercial addresses and streets
- Be physically capable of handling multi-drop driving and warehouse duties
- Demonstrate a hardworking, positive, and adaptable approach to work
- Be able to undergo and successfully pass a DBS check before starting
- Comply with random drug and alcohol testing upon employment
