About the Role

Join a well-established and rapidly expanding financial advisory firm based in George, Western Cape, as a Paraplanner. This position offers a key opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced financial adviser in delivering tailored, high-quality financial planning solutions focused on risk planning, investment strategies, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial planning and investment proposals tailored to client needs.
• Perform thorough product, fund, and market research to support advisory recommendations.
• Assist with client engagement through preparation of client reviews and annual updates.
• Compile comprehensive Records of Advice (ROAs) to document advisory outcomes.
• Prepare quotations covering various risk and investment products.
• Maintain organized and accurate client data within CRM systems.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance and administrative support to the financial adviser and clients.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a relevant qualification in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• RE5 certification is required.
• Progression towards or completion of CFP® qualification is advantageous.
• Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of experience in paraplanning or a financial planning support capacity.
• Exemplary analytical capabilities and strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong professional communication skills.
