About the Role
Join the commercial painting team in Brisbane as an experienced Painter with Programmed Property Services. This position involves working across various commercial painting and maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety standards.
Key Duties
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and patching.
- Apply paints and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform interior and exterior painting tasks.
- Operate safely on ladders, scaffolds, and elevated platforms.
- Protect surrounding areas and maintain cleanliness in the work zone.
- Follow project guidelines, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors, fellow painters, and other tradespeople.
- Deliver workmanship and customer service that meet professional standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a trade qualification in Painting and Decorating.
- Have prior experience in commercial or residential painting.
- Exhibit strong skills in surface preparation and finishing.
- Hold a Construction White Card.
- Have a current driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate good communication and ability to work in a team.
- Maintain a strong dedication to health and safety at work.
- Be capable of working independently while following instructions.
- Present a dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Additional industry tickets such as EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and Working at Heights licenses will be advantageous.
