Key Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by removing contaminants such as grease, dirt, paint, or rust using various tools including abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters.
- Support the painting team by assisting with pre-paint blending requirements.
- Collaborate with the paint team to maintain adherence to the vehicle’s scheduled delivery timeline.
- Apply body fillers to minor dents or scratches and smooth the surfaces in readiness for painting.
- Polish and wax completed paint jobs to achieve the final finish.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble paint sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths as cleaning aids.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with vehicle painting processes is necessary.
- Holding I-CAR certifications is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively and function cooperatively within a team environment.
- Capability to pass a comprehensive background screening.

Compensation Details
This position offers competitive pay based on candidate expertise, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Compensation follows a commission and flag rate system ensuring a minimum wage guarantee for all worked hours per week. The expected salary range for a full-time employee is $40,000 to $94,000 per year. Crash Champions reserves the right to revise compensation and benefits in line with applicable laws and policy updates.
