Packer / Assembler (Warehouse Operator)

Company Overview

BreatheSafe is an Australian company dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced dust control and air quality solutions for industries exposed to dust and airborne contaminants nationwide and internationally. Due to ongoing expansion, we are recruiting a Packer / Assembler to be based in Carole Park.

Position Overview

This position predominantly involves packing duties with occasional assembly assistance to support our production team. The successful candidate will ensure customer orders are packed precisely while upholding quality standards and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely pick parts and products using paper-based pick lists.
• Package and label orders to comply with quality assurance and shipping criteria.
• Prepare shipments and complete relevant documentation accurately.
• Support stock refills, conduct routine cycle counts, and participate in stocktake activities.
• Keep the warehouse safe, tidy, and systematically organized.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely when licensed.
• Occasionally assist production with basic product assembly using hand tools and machinery following technical specs.
• Ensure assembled products meet quality requirements.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 5:30 AM – 2:45 PM
• Friday: 5:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Enjoy every second Friday off, creating long weekends.
• Some flexibility is needed, as shifts might adjust occasionally to meet business requirements including stocktakes.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in picking, packing, assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing roles preferred.
• Able to lift and handle items weighing up to 20 kilograms.
• Familiarity with inventory management software such as Cin7 or NetSuite is an advantage.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Forklift license is advantageous.
• Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Must pass police clearance, reference checks, and pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
