Job description
Job Overview
This role demands full adherence to cGMP, GxP, and other regulatory and environmental health and safety standards. Prior to executing any task, the officer must thoroughly complete training on relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and gain a sound understanding of required activities. All duties must be performed strictly following these SOPs with any procedural difficulties or deviations promptly reported to supervisors or managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP, GxP, and EHS regulations within the workgroup "Engineering Utility-GOA".
- Complete mandatory trainings and oversee team member training on SOPs.
- Supervise operations and maintenance of utility equipment across units 1 & 2, water systems, cooling water heaters (CWH and CWH-1), solvent storage areas, external warehouses, canteen, and administrative buildings.
- Prepare utility reports reflecting budgeted versus actual metrics, deliver presentations, and propose cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage the implementation and review of departmental documentation including validations, calibrations, SOP revisions, and qualifications to ensure continued compliance with quality systems and cGMP.
- Report any quality issues or propose improvement ideas to leadership promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Pursuit or completion of Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional experience ranging from 2 to 4 years in relevant operational roles.

The position involves regular oversight to guarantee institutional adherence to quality and safety standards. Candidates need to demonstrate competence in self-learning and team training facilitation to maintain department standards and operational excellence.
