Position Overview
The Night Concierge role ensures seamless transition between day and night community operations, contributing to a 24/7 exceptional resident experience. This position delivers superior customer service and upholds rigorous safety and cleanliness standards throughout the community. Annual base salary starts at €34,600, subject to experience, with potential eligibility for on-site bonus programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Exemplify the company’s core values consistently.
- Provide reception duties, administrative support, and exceptional customer service including key handling and lockout assistance.
- Implement company policies effectively such as guest procedures and out-of-hours check-ins/outs.
- Respond to booking inquiries and ensure efficient handover for next day occupancy follow-ups.
- Support and facilitate social events to encourage resident engagement and retention.
- Coordinate handover communications between day and night teams to address resident issues effectively.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, escalating when necessary with proper guidance.
- Maintain common areas by managing minor cleaning tasks to present the property at a high standard.
- Handle minor maintenance issues directly or report tenant faults appropriately.
- Investigate and address basic maintenance problems including lock/key issues, heating, radiator, power supply, and leak isolations.
- Ensure a secure and safe environment by responding to safety and maintenance-related calls.
- Take responsibility for personal and colleague health and safety.
- Document all nightly incidents and issues in handover/security logs and notify the Community Manager of trends.
- Manage relationships with neighbors, local authorities, emergency services, and community organizations.
- Stay compliant with Health and Safety, Data Protection, and other regulatory standards at all times.
- Conduct and record room and communal area inspections as necessary.
- Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking reasonable duties as needed.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have a solid general education demonstrating proficiency in written and numerical skills. Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential. Experience in customer service within accommodation, hospitality, leisure, or reservations environments is required. Successful applicants are self-motivated, team-oriented, highly organized, capable of multitasking, and detail-focused. They should demonstrate cultural awareness and tailor communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for diverse audiences. A passion for delivering outstanding stakeholder experiences and a drive for continual personal development are necessary.
