Role Summary

This role is a full-time, remote position based in India, focused on researching and composing news articles on architecture, development, design, luxury real estate, and PropTech. The News Writer’s duties include sourcing and writing timely news stories, assisting with interviews, fact-checking, and working with editors to polish content for digital and print media. Responsibilities also encompass managing editorial calendars and upholding high journalistic standards. The role requires close collaboration with editorial and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with BIP’s tone and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write news articles centered on architecture, development, design, luxury real estate, and PropTech.
• Source stories, conduct interviews, verify information, and work with editors to prepare content for publication.
• Maintain and support editorial calendars to ensure timely coverage of industry news.
• Ensure all work adheres to high standards of journalistic integrity and excellence.
• Collaborate with editorial and marketing departments to align articles with company voice and strategy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience with a reputable organization in news writing or journalism.
• Strong skills in news reporting, storytelling, and industry-specific coverage.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities, including adapting tone for diverse audiences and formats.
• Experience in crafting press releases and media communications.
• Strong research capabilities, with attention to detail and dedication to ethical journalism.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related fields preferred.
• Background or experience in architecture, design, real estate, or lifestyle media is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital publishing software, CMS platforms, AI prompt writing, and fundamental SEO concepts is beneficial.
