Job description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to oversee and maintain comprehensive network infrastructure, cloud hosting environments, endpoint security, and IT operations. You will be responsible for managing firewalls, DNS, cloud services, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, internet access control, and network security policies.
- Administer Cloudflare services including DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, WAF, caching, and security configurations for websites and applications.
- Control domain registrations, DNS records, and SSL certificates across Cloudflare, AWS Route 53, and HostGator platforms.
- Troubleshoot network issues including connectivity, DNS errors, routing problems, proxy configurations, SSL complications, and application accessibility.
- Coordinate with ISPs, ILL/telecom providers, and hosting vendors to resolve network and connectivity challenges.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS/Aurora, IAM and its Identity Center, Route 53, Lambda, EventBridge, and Systems Manager.
- Oversee HostGator and cPanel hosting services, including websites, domains, email services, FTP/SFTP access, SSL management, and backup tasks.
- Maintain Windows servers, IIS, databases like SQL Server and MySQL, and production application environments.
- Implement monitoring, backup solutions, patching, capacity planning, and plans for disaster recovery.
- Administer Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Manage license procurement, user lifecycle, mailbox administration, access control policies, and security rules under Microsoft CSP.
- Configure Single Sign-On (SSO), app registrations, OAuth, and enterprise application integrations with Entra ID.
- Support Teams application integrations, Adaptive Cards, and approval workflows in collaboration with development teams.
- Administer endpoint security tools such as Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Trellix EDR/XDR.
- Maintain Group Policy, Windows security hardening, attack surface reduction, and device compliance protocols.
- Ensure email security measures including anti-phishing, data loss prevention (DLP), and vulnerability mitigation.
- Manage IT assets including laptops, onboarding/offboarding processes, and equipment returns.
- Handle incidents, changes, and service requests accurately, while maintaining IT documentation and network topology diagrams.
- Oversee vendor relationships including AWS, Microsoft, Cloudflare, HostGator, ISPs, hardware, and security suppliers including procurement of quotes, renewals, licenses, and contracts.
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement departments to process invoices, purchase orders, and ensure timely renewal of critical services.
- Automate routine administrative tasks such as server scheduling, reporting, and user management by leveraging PowerShell scripts, AWS Lambda/EventBridge triggers, and basic Python programming.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this role ranges from 40000 to 50000 INR.
