Job Overview

Join a prominent manufacturing company located in Newton Aycliffe as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This position offers an annual salary of A341,500 and follows a Monday-Friday three-shift rotational schedule.

Role Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventative maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Promptly address equipment failures and perform breakdown repairs to reduce production impact.
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting reliability and operational efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company maintenance procedures during all service work.
• Document maintenance actions accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance plant performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
• Proven multi-disciplinary maintenance skills encompassing both electrical and mechanical domains.
• Background experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a desirable asset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
