Job Overview
Join a prominent manufacturing company located in Newton Aycliffe as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This position offers an annual salary of A341,500 and follows a Monday-Friday three-shift rotational schedule.
Role Responsibilities
- Execute planned preventative maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Promptly address equipment failures and perform breakdown repairs to reduce production impact.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting reliability and operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company maintenance procedures during all service work.
- Document maintenance actions accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance plant performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
- Proven multi-disciplinary maintenance skills encompassing both electrical and mechanical domains.
- Background experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a desirable asset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
