Position Overview

We are recruiting a skilled MRI/CT Radiographer for a permanent full-time role, split between our Kingston and Gungahlin locations. This opportunity is suited for a qualified Radiographer experienced in MRI techniques who thrives in a dynamic, patient-focused setting and desires to deepen their expertise with cutting-edge MRI technology. Candidates with CT and General X-ray experience will be especially valued.

Key Duties

  • Conduct extensive MRI exams covering musculoskeletal, neurological, and body areas.
  • Ensure outstanding patient care and adhere strictly to MRI safety and image quality standards.
  • Manage clinical operations efficiently within a demanding work environment.
  • Operate across both Philips and GE MRI systems, benefiting from cross-vendor training options.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nursing teams, clinical assistants, and fellow radiographers.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and foster a positive team spirit.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess relevant Medical Imaging qualifications.
  • Hold current AHPRA registration and a valid Radiation Use Licence.
  • Demonstrate 1–2 years of MRI experience, which is highly preferred.
  • Have strong familiarity with MRI safety protocols and scanning practices.
  • Experience with performing MRI across MSK, neuro, and body imaging is required.
  • Background in CT and/or General X-ray is a strong advantage.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adopt a cooperative, patient-centered work ethic.
  • Be dependable, adaptable, and able to manage early and late shifts.
  • Have full Australian work rights.
