MRI/CT Radiographer

About the Role

Join Qscan Group in a permanent full-time position as an MRI/CT Radiographer based between our Kingston and Gungahlin clinics in the Australian Capital Territory. This role is perfect for an experienced Radiographer with MRI expertise, who thrives in a busy, patient-centric setting and desires to enhance their skills with state-of-the-art MRI technology. Preference will be given to candidates also experienced in CT and General X-ray.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide variety of MRI examinations including musculoskeletal, neurological, and body scans.
• Ensure excellent patient care and uphold the highest standards of MRI safety and image quality.
• Efficiently manage workload in a dynamic clinical environment.
• Operate and gain hands-on experience with both Philips and GE MRI platforms, with opportunities for training across vendors.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nursing personnel, clinical assistants, and other radiographers.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts and foster a positive workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements

• Formal qualifications in Medical Imaging.
• Current registration with AHPRA and a valid Radiation Use Licence.
• Between one to two years of MRI experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and scanning procedures.
• Experience with diverse MRI exams including musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging.
• Experience in CT and/or general X-ray highly valued.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team-oriented, patient-focused approach.
• Dependability, flexibility, and willingness to cover early and late shifts.
• Legal rights to work in Australia.
