Role Overview

We are inviting a qualified MRI Radiographer to join our Toowong clinic on a permanent full-time basis. This role suits an experienced Radiographer with MRI expertise eager to work in a busy, patient-oriented environment and to advance their skills on sophisticated MRI equipment. Experience with CT and General X-ray will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide variety of MRI scans including musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging procedures.
• Provide outstanding patient care while upholding the highest standards in MRI safety and image quality.
• Efficiently manage clinical workflow in a dynamic setting.
• Operate across multiple MRI platforms, with options for cross-vendor training and development.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, clinical assistants, and fellow radiographers within a multidisciplinary team.

Location and Work Environment

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant medical imaging qualifications.
• Current registration with AHPRA and a valid Radiation Use Licence.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of MRI experience.
• Familiarity with multiple MRI system platforms is highly valued.
• Thorough knowledge of MRI safety protocols and scanning procedures.
• Experience conducting MSK, neurological, and body MRI examinations.
• CT and/or General X-ray experience desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A patient-centered, cooperative team player attitude.
• Dependability and flexibility to work early morning and late shifts as required.
