About the Role
SouthRoads, a part of the HW Richardson Group, is seeking a skilled Mobile Crushing Plant Operator to join their team in Southland. This full-time position involves running mobile crushing and screening machinery across various sites, including quarries, extraction, and cleanfill locations. The role focuses on delivering top-quality aggregate products with an emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating mobile crushing and screening equipment to process materials.
- Monitoring production flow and ensuring the quality of materials produced.
- Supporting safe and effective site procedures to maintain high safety standards.
- Working at diverse sites such as quarries, extraction, and cleanfill areas as needed.
- Maintaining machinery in excellent condition through regular upkeep.
- Fostering a positive team environment with strong focus on safety.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience in handling mobile crushing and screening equipment.
- Possession of a valid Class 2 driver’s licence.
- Endorsements for W, T, R licence categories are preferred.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders or excavators.
- Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with good problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive attitude and commitment to hard work.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting.
