About EML Group

EML Group is a prominent organisation specialising in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management. Our mission is to assist individuals in reclaiming their lives through consistent support during their return-to-work processes. With a workforce exceeding 4,000 employees, we nurture a culture of learning and continuous employee investment to ensure rewarding long-term careers.

Role Opportunity

We are offering an 18-month secondment as a Mobile Case Manager covering locations including Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Port Macquarie, and nearby areas. This role suits Rehabilitation Consultants or Allied Health Professionals experienced in workers’ compensation who wish to transition from clinical or office-based work to a dynamic, field-based position impacting people directly.

This position focuses on early and personalized face-to-face claims management aimed at helping injured workers return to employment promptly while supporting their employers. Travel up to three hours one-way within the region will be required to assist stakeholders effectively.

The role involves conducting approximately eight visits weekly. Equipment such as a laptop, mobile phone, and either a fleet vehicle or car allowance will be provided to facilitate movement across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored face-to-face support to injured workers and employers.
  • Offer expert advice on workers’ compensation to various stakeholders including employees, employers, and service providers.
  • Carry out community visits at sites including workplaces and medical clinics.
  • Proactively drive recovery and early, sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Providers, Employers, and Return to Work Specialists as necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven background and strong experience in Rehabilitation or Return-to-Work services, having served as a Rehabilitation Consultant, Allied Health Professional, or seasoned Workers Compensation Case Manager.
  • Familiarity with the NSW workers’ compensation laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent listening and conflict resolution abilities, with empathy towards individuals recovering from physical or psychological injuries and an understanding of critical factors that promote recovery and workplace reintegration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational aptitude, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Preferably possess an Allied Health background with knowledge of medical terminology and injury recovery timelines.
  • Hold a valid and unrestricted NSW Driver’s License.

Workplace Culture and Benefits

EML embraces diversity and inclusion, fostering an equitable workplace where respect, integrity, and honesty are paramount. We offer comprehensive career growth prospects and attractive employee benefits including:

  • Collaborative and diverse team environment.
  • Work-from-home flexibility supporting work-life balance.
  • Corporate wellbeing program featuring discounted health insurance and gym memberships.
  • Access to RewardsHub for generous discounts at over 350 retailers.
  • Robust learning and development programs to help employees achieve their potential.
  • Employee Assistance Program offering support and counseling for personal or work issues.
  • Company-wide events to cultivate connectivity and celebrate achievements.
  • Participation in annual company incentive schemes plus salary reviews.
  • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave complemented by superannuation benefits.
